Officer Biographies

Executive Branch

President- Kevin Schallert

Kevin Schallert is a junior majoring in Political Science, Communication, Sociology, and ESRM. Since coming to CI, Kevin has become involved with the dinghy and off-shore sailing teams, International Relations Club and its Intercollegiate Model United Nations team, and Student Government. Off campus, Kevin interns for the National Park Service and is an avid hiker, backpacker, kayaker, climber, and sailor. In the future, Kevin aspires to work at a think tank studying International Land and Water Management. Kevin pledges to aggressively advocate for students on every level and at every opportunity and will maintain an open door policy with both students and stakeholders during his tenure in office.

Vice President- Lauren Pollack

Lauren Pollack is a senior English major with a minor in Communication. She has been a Student Government Senator for the past two years and is now the Student Government Vice President. Lauren has been involved on campus in many different aspects, she helped out with orientation and was a Peer Mentor in the New Student Center for the past two years, and has served on the ASI Board for the past year. In the future Lauren wants to work in the Criminal justice field as a Parole/ Probation officer. She is always willing to give a helping hand and is here to serve the students and make CI their home.
